Game Week @ Chicago Riot - September 24th

This past weekend, the Coyotes hosted the Rockford Ravens in a tough, physical battle. The home team started out slow and went into the half down 17-7. After the break, Coyotes started to take over. A pair of quick tries within two minutes helped turn the tide as the home team began to put pressure on the Ravens. At the final whistle, Coyotes take full points with a 28-17 victory. We had to award the Man of the Match awards to two individuals as they stood out for us - Shelton Mudzingwa and Scott Dooley.

This Saturday, the Coyotes hit the road as we take on the Chicago Riot. Kick-off is set for 11 AM at Smith Park in Chicago. Join us for game preparations this week. Game Week vs Rockford Ravens - September 17th

This past weekend, the Coyotes traveled to Elk Grove Village to take on the Northwest Woodsmen. In a game where we saw a reshuffled starting 15 and a short bench, we showed heart to fight up until the last minute. Ultimately, a bad start cost us the game, which ended 26-24 in favor of the Woodsmen. Despite the loss, the Coyotes picked up two losing bonus points in the effort. Our man of the match was Ryan Lennon!

This Saturday, we're looking to bounce back at home as we host Rockford Ravens. Kick-off is set for 1 PM. Join us for game preparations this week. After a bye weekend for Labor Day observance, Lake County Coyotes are back in action this Saturday! On September 10th, we travel to Woodland Meadows Park to take on the Northwest Woodsmen. Kickoff is set for 1 PM. Come on the road with us and cheer us on!

Practice Schedule - Week of 8/29

Lake County Coyotes kicked off their season with a big 49-15 win over the Northwest Indiana Reapers. There were errors that were expected, given it was our first game of the season. But the Coyotes persevered through. The biggest highlight of the match was the debuts of 8 rookies, including 5 starters! Our man of the match, voted on by the players of each team for his best efforts, was Ethan Graben.

Next scheduled practices are on August 30th and September 1st at 7 PM. Practice will be held at Hutchins Athletic Field, 36753 N. Hutchins Rd in Gurnee. Players of all experience levels, shapes, and sizes are welcome!

We enter a league-wide bye week to observe Labor Day Weekend. Therefore, your Coyotes will be resting up in preparations for their next match. 15s Season Practice Begins 8/2

Lake County Coyotes wrapped up its summer 7s season, and it's now time to turn our focus the upcoming Fall season! We're happy to announce the start of 15s practice on Tuesday, August 2nd. Training sessions will be held each Tuesday and Thursday, starting at 7 PM. Practice will be held at Hutchins Athletic Field, 36753 N. Hutchins Rd in Gurnee. Our Fall 2022 Schedule just dropped! The Coyotes will travel to Madison, WI to compete in the Memorial Xs tournament this Saturday, August 6th. It's our final tune-up of the preseason. Oshkosh Pigfest X's - 7.16.22

This past weekend, Lake County Coyotes traveled to Lemont to compete in Firehouse 7s. The team fought in a tough 5-team pool, consisting the likes of Chicago Blaze, Chicago Riot, Grand Rapids Gazelles, and Fox Valley Chiefs. The team played their hearts out, which included debuts from 4 new players! We finished the day with a 2-1-1 record, and narrowly missed out on a semi-final on try differential. While it hurts to have the team come up just short of the playoffs, the coaching staff is proud of the strides we made over the summer.

Join us this week as we continue our prep for Pigfest 10s in Oshkosh, WI on July 16th! This week, we're practicing on Tuesday the 12th and Thursday the 14th. Practice will be held at Hutchins Athletic Field, 36753 N. Hutchins Rd in Gurnee. Players of all experience level, shapes, and sizes are welcome. This is our last tournament of the summer, so it'd be a good idea to get some work and conditioning in prior to the 15s season.

With our Spring season coming to an end, we're happy to announce the start of our Summer 7s season! Sessions will begin on Tuesday, June 7th. Practices will be held each Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 9 PM, over at Hutchins Athletic Field, 36753 N. Hutchins Rd in Gurnee. Players of all experience level, shapes, and sizes are welcome.

Season Finale vs Northwest Woodsmen - 5/21/22

Lake County Coyotes are back in action for our season finale preparations! Practice is scheduled for Tuesday the 17th and Thursday the 19th. Practice will be held at Hutchins Athletic Field, 36753 N. Hutchins Rd in Gurnee. Players of all experience level, shapes, and sizes are welcome.

This Saturday the 21st, the Coyotes welcome the Northwest Woodsmen for the final game of the season! Kickoff is set for 1 PM with a social to follow at the pitch. Week 3 Practice Schedule

Over the weekend, the new look Lake County Coyotes secured a semifinal appearance at Whiskey 10s, hosted by South Side Irish. The team finished with 3 wins before losing to the hosts in a tightly-contested match. Congratulations to first time try scorers, Severin Kravchuk and Sean Pearce!
