Lake County Coyotes kicked off their season with a big 49-15 win over the Northwest Indiana Reapers. There were errors that were expected, given it was our first game of the season. But the Coyotes persevered through. The biggest highlight of the match was the debuts of 8 rookies, including 5 starters! Our man of the match, voted on by the players of each team for his best efforts, was Ethan Graben.
Next scheduled practices are on August 30th and September 1st at 7 PM. Practice will be held at Hutchins Athletic Field, 36753 N. Hutchins Rd in Gurnee. Players of all experience levels, shapes, and sizes are welcome!
We enter a league-wide bye week to observe Labor Day Weekend. Therefore, your Coyotes will be resting up in preparations for their next match.
